Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations and help provide a clean, organized, and welcoming food service environment.
- This hands-on role assists with meal preparation, food preparation, cooking tasks, and serving while following established food safety and sanitation practices.
- The ideal candidate is reliable, works well with others, and is ready to contribute in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing ingredients and assembling meals according to instructions.
- Support basic cooking tasks and help keep food service running smoothly.
- Help serve meals and maintain clean, orderly service areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment; clean work surfaces and floors.
- Store ingredients and supplies properly, and help restock kitchen stations.
- Follow food handling, hygiene, and food safety procedures,



including guidance on preventing cross-contamination.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen and service staff and complete other related duties as needed.

Experience

- Previous kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with cooking, meal preparation, food preparation, serving, or the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain a clean workspace, and handle food safely.
- Dependability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are important for success in this role.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
