All in a Day Renovations is a fast-paced, growing construction company looking for a reliable, motivated apprentice carpenter to join our crew.
We handle residential renovations and new builds from foundation work through to finishing and handing the property over to the tenant. Our commercial work includes concrete sidewalks, retaining walls and steel buildings. You'll get hands-on experience across a wide range of projects alongside experienced tradespeople.
What You'll Do
- Assist with foundation work, concrete forming and finishing
- Help with framing, window installation, tile installation and finishing carpentry
- Support plumbers, electricians and other trades on-site
- Assist with commercial sidewalks, retaining walls and steel building assembly
- Learn to read drawings and follow construction plans
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Move materials and keep job sites clean and organized
- Follow site safety requirements and take direction from the crew
What We're Looking For
- A solid interest in carpentry and learning how a project comes together from start to finish
- Reliability, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work well with a crew and communicate clearly
- Comfort with physical work and changing job-site and weather conditions
- Previous construction experience and familiarity with tools are assets, but beginners willing to learn are welcome
Tools and Transportation
Having your own tools and reliable transportation is highly recommended.
Pay
Pay will depend on experience.
