Shipper/Receiver - Temp to Perm

About Our Client:

Our client is a heavy equipment and automotive manufacturer in the Brampton area that is looking for a skilled shipper/receiver to join their team.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Shipper/Receiver:

- Operate Forklift Counterbalance & Raymond Reach to feed production lines, load and unload trailers
- Organize incoming inventory
- Ensure all orders are reviewed, processed, submitted, and shipped on time
- basic data entry and use of an RF Scanner
- filling out basic shipping paper work and production documentation
- manual material handling as needed
- Perform any other tasks/projects as assigned by supervisor

What You Should Have, as a Shipper/Receiver:

- Minimum 1 years in a shipper/receiver role
- Valid 3rd Party counterbalance propane license
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
- Some roles require a G license
- Excellent communication skills in English, written/verbal
- Basic knowledge and experience in the daily operations of shipping
- Basic knowledge of the RF scanning gun
- Forklift Counterbalance Propane License from a 3rd party
- basic Computer Skills

In Return, You Will Receive:

- Up to $28.00 per hour, depending on role
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Opportunity for Permanent Hire
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
