About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Room Attendant plays an important role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and spotless.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation while working collaboratively with your teammates to deliver the exceptional service our guests have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend daily housekeeping team meetings to receive room assignments, guest feedback, VIP arrival information, and special requests.
- Clean, sanitize, dust, mop, and vacuum guest rooms, bathrooms, and other assigned areas in accordance with hotel and brand standards.
- Strip beds, remove used linens and garbage, make beds, and replace fresh towels and linens.




- Restock guest rooms with amenities and supplies according to established standards.
- Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged, organized, and presented to provide a welcoming experience.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance issues, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
- Prepare and maintain housekeeping carts with the necessary supplies and equipment.
- Keep housekeeping equipment, vacuums, linen closets, and storage areas clean, organized, and adequately stocked.
- Follow hotel policies, health and safety procedures, emergency protocols, and security requirements.
- Protect guest privacy and confidentiality by following established guest room access procedures.
- Assist fellow housekeeping team members in maintaining clean and organized public areas and workspaces.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience required; 1–2 years preferred.
- Previous Hilton hotel experience is considered an asset.
- Availability to work weekends is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.




- Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and complete assigned rooms within established timeframes.
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, supervisors, and fellow team members.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, crouching, twisting, reaching, and kneeling.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Oshawa, Ontario, or relocate before starting work.
