About Mitovia Medical Aesthetics & Wellness

Mitovia is a new, physician-led medical aesthetics and wellness clinic in Surrey, founded by Dr. Gurteshwar Rana, MD, FRCSC, FACS — a dual board-certified general surgeon and aesthetic physician. We bring a surgical specialist's understanding of anatomy, tissue and healing to every treatment, and we serve the wonderfully diverse communities of Metro Vancouver.

Our services include neuromodulators and dermal fillers, laser and energy-based devices, regenerative therapies (including PRP), hair restoration, medical-grade skincare and wellness.

We're growing our founding team and looking for a skilled, client-focused Medical Aesthetician who also enjoys being the welcoming first face of the clinic.

Responsibilities

Aesthetic treatments

- Perform medical-grade skin treatments such as facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning and other services within your training and scope
- Operate laser and energy-based devices under physician direction and clinic protocols (training provided on our platforms)
- Conduct skin assessments and consultations, and build personalized home-care and treatment plans
- Recommend and sell medical-grade skincare products with confidence and honesty
- Assist the physician and RN with treatment room preparation, PRP processing support, before-and-after photography and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain strict infection prevention, sterilization and device safety standards
- Document treatments accurately and on time in our EMR (Jane)

Front desk and client care





- Greet clients warmly and create a calm, welcoming reception experience
- Answer phones, emails, website enquiries and social media messages promptly
- Book, confirm and reschedule appointments in Jane, and manage waitlists to keep the schedule full
- Process payments, packages and memberships, and handle daily reconciliation
- Complete client intake, consent forms and pre-appointment instructions
- Follow up with clients after treatments and help with rebooking
- Keep reception, retail displays and treatment rooms clean, stocked and organized
- Track inventory for skincare and clinical supplies and flag reorders
- Support clinic events, launches and social media content (with client consent)

Experience

Required

- Diploma or certificate in Esthetics from a recognized institution
- 1+ year of experience as an aesthetician, ideally in a medical spa, dermatology or plastic surgery setting
- Experience with advanced skin treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microneedling)
- Front desk, reception or client-service experience
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, qualified presence
- Strong organization and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic
- Comfortable with booking software and basic computer skills
- Commitment to client privacy and confidentiality

Nice to have

- Laser and energy-based device certification or experience
- Experience with Jane App or another clinic EMR/booking system
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare lines
- Retail or sales experience

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
