About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Lead to drive solution design, business process transformation, and delivery execution across Dynamics 365 Commerce and Finance & Operations (F&O;) implementations. This role combines deep functional expertise with strong stakeholder management and program delivery skills, serving as a trusted advisor to clients while helping guide complex transformation initiatives from discovery through deployment.

What You'll Do

Functional Solution Leadership

- Lead requirements discovery, business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, and solution design workshops.
- Translate business objectives into scalable Dynamics 365 Commerce and F&O; solutions.
- Define and document business processes, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs.
- Configure and optimise Dynamics 365 modules, workflows, security roles, and business parameters.
- Partner with solution architects and technical teams to design integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Support Dual-write scenarios, integration design, and cross-platform business processes involving F&O;, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), Customer Engagement (CE), and related Microsoft technologies.
- Validate solution designs against business objectives, industry best practices, and Microsoft capabilities.
- Prepare and facilitate client demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and functional reviews.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.

Program & Delivery Leadership

- Partner closely with Project Managers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters to support overall program delivery.
- Contribute to planning, forecasting, dependency management, risk identification, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate activities across functional, data, integration, testing, and change management workstreams.




- Drive backlog readiness, user story refinement, and delivery planning activities.
- Support executive reporting, steering committee materials, governance processes, and RAID management.
- Track key decisions, actions, deliverables, and dependencies across project teams.
- Provide delivery leadership for assigned workstreams and business initiatives.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

- Build trusted relationships with business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead client demonstrations, workshops, training sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Mentor business analysts, consultants, and junior team members.
- Support organisational change management and user adoption activities.
- Remove functional roadblocks and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
- Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and vendor partners.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience

- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise software implementation programs.
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functional consulting experience.
- Experience leading functional workstreams on large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Commerce capabilities.
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and conducting fit-gap analyses.
- Experience managing epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
- Solid working knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub work management tools.
- Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and AI-enabled delivery tools to automate requirements management, documentation, user story creation, testing, solution design artifacts, and other functional delivery activities.
- Experience implementing GitHub and Copilot integration frameworks that improve team productivity, accelerate delivery, and streamline project governance and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, and Data & Analytics solutions.
- Experience with enterprise retail, commerce, supply chain, manufacturing, or service-based organisations.
- Experience participating in Microsoft FastTrack engagements.
- Previous consulting or systems integration experience.




- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with enterprise digital experience platforms such as Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar solutions.
