Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server/Bartender to provide welcoming, efficient service in a hospitality-focused environment. This role combines serving and bartending duties, including taking orders, preparing beverages, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining and service area. Robust customer service, organization, and time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests, explain menu options, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and responsible service practices.
- Process guest payments, operate the register, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Follow food safety and food-handling procedures, including proper sanitation and safe beverage preparation.
- Keep tables, bar areas,



service stations, and equipment clean and organized.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to support smooth, timely service.
- Use basic math and sound judgment to verify orders, process transactions, and manage multiple tasks during busy periods.

Experience

- Restaurant, food service, food industry, or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Previous serving and bartending experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems is required or strongly preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, food handling, and food safety practices is beneficial.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and a professional, guest-focused approach.
- Strong time management and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with basic math and accurate payment processing.

Pay: $17.60-$29.75 per hour
