Mercato di Luigi is currently looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at our Mt Pleasant location (12th and Carolina St)! Mercato di Luigi is focused on a community-driven concept offering an Italian grocery, fresh pasta to dine in or takeaway, and an Italian-style cafe. If you're passionate about hospitality, the guest experience and leading a team, we want to hear from you!

Please note, this will be a daytime position with no evening shifts required.

You have:

- 1+ years of experience in a Sous Chef, Lead Cook, Chef de Partie, or similar
- Experience with Italian cuisine (especially cooking pasta!) is a huge asset
- Excellent at both collaborative teamwork and thriving independently
- A passion for hospitality and a positive attitude
- Food Secure Level One required
- First Aid is an asset
