Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ER / ICU / Med-Surg

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality patient care in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients and monitor vital signs and clinical conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
- Provide emergency, critical care, and medical-surgical nursing care.
- Assist with resuscitation, wound care, and other clinical procedures as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate patient records and EHR documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure protected, effective patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families and follow infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications

- Active RN license valid for the assignment location.
- Recent experience in the assigned specialty.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Certifications

ER:

- BLS and ACLS.
- PALS and TNCC when required by the facility.

ICU:

- BLS and ACLS.
- CCRN or an accepted equivalent when required by the hiring facility.

Med-Surg:

- BLS.




- ACLS when required by the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous nursing experience in Canada.
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, medication administration, IV therapy, and patient monitoring.
- Strong adaptability, teamwork, and time management skills.

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Critical Care Certification (preferred)
