Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. The successful candidate will help maintain consistent food quality, follow food safety standards, and support smooth service during each shift. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are also valued.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and complete meal preparation according to recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures.
- Cook menu items to order while maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and timing.
- Set up and restock the station before service; keep ingredients and equipment organized throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with kitchen teammates and serving staff to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow secure food handling practices, including proper storage, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment, and maintain a tidy kitchen.




- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to the appropriate team member.
- Follow restaurant procedures and applicable food safety requirements.

Skills

- Ability to perform food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach when working with kitchen and serving staff.
- Flexibility to prioritize tasks and maintain quality during busy service periods.
- Food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.32-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
