We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across two organizations in Mississauga, Ontario. This position oversees a broad range of HR activities, from hiring and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and people programs. The role is well suited to someone who can strengthen HR foundations, improve day-to-day processes, and provide practical guidance in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary HR contact for both organizations, providing day-to-day support to employees and leadership teams.
- Design, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and core practices to build a consistent and effective people framework.
- Partner with managers on staffing plans, recruitment activities, and hiring processes to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate onboarding and support the employee experience throughout the full employment lifecycle.
- Advise leaders on performance concerns, workplace investigations, and employee relations matters with a balanced and compliant approach.
- Administer time and attendance processes for hourly staff and assist with payroll-related information and documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR administration is completed in a timely and organized manner.
- Oversee health and safety programs, including training, incident follow-up, and related compliance activities.
- Manage employee leaves, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work planning in collaboration with leaders and employees.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics for ownership while identifying opportunities for process improvement and change management.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
- Background supporting HR functions in manufacturing, distribution,



food, or retail settings.
- Demonstrated ability to build or improve HR policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, performance management practices, and employee relations.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.
- Solid capability in HR administration, benefits coordination, training support, and employee documentation.
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently as a trusted HR resource.
