Position Summary

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for coordinating and leading daily maintenance activities within the production facility to ensure equipment reliability, food safety compliance, and operational efficiency. This role provides hands-on technical support while directing maintenance technicians, prioritizing work orders, and partnering with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and management teams to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance.

Leadership & Team Development

Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders and maintenance activities.

Coach, train, and develop team members.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Operations

Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Lead equipment troubleshooting and breakdown response.

Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Ensure maintenance activities are documented accurately.





Food Safety & Quality

Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

Minimize contamination risks during maintenance activities.

Support food safety audits and corrective actions. Qualifications

Journeyperson Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, or equivalent preferred.

3-5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing preference

Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Solid troubleshooting, CMMS, and leadership skills.

Key Performance Indicators

Equipment uptime and reliability.

Preventive maintenance completion rate.

Reduction of unplanned downtime.

Safety and food safety compliance.

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
