Job Overview

The Tile Setter prepares surfaces and installs tile for durable, clean finishes. This hands-on role involves measuring work areas, following project plans, and completing installation details with care. You’ll coordinate with colleagues to keep work organized and help deliver finished spaces that meet project needs.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces and work areas, measure and mark layouts, and review blueprints to plan tile placement.
- Cut, position, and set tile for flooring and other designated surfaces, using hand tools safely and accurately.
- Apply grout and caulking, finish edges, and inspect completed work for alignment and quality.
- Maintain tools and an orderly work area, and coordinate progress with colleagues.

Skills

Required:



Practical tile laying and flooring installation skills, confident use of hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints and complete careful finishing work, including caulking. These capabilities support accurate layouts and durable installations. Preferred: Construction experience, carpentry skills, or handyman experience that helps with surface preparation and related tasks. Your impact: Careful, well-finished tile work helps colleagues complete projects smoothly and gives customers reliable, attractive surfaces.

Pay: $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
