We are Eastern Ontario’s Largest Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Retailer. We have seven retail stores, operate Potters Nurseries, a fleet of service personnel and a pool construction business. We also manage a portfolio of commercial properties. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely collections, and assisting with the administration of all our business divisions all while delivering excellent service to our clients. Key Responsibilities

- Invoice Management: Generate, review, and send invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Payment Tracking: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Reporting: Prepare regular aging reports and assist with month-end closing
- Customer Communication: Respond to billing inquiries and maintain positive client relationships
- Compliance:



Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
- Team: Work with all departments and retail staff to review open order reports, and A/R status

Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in property and / or construction administration a significant asset
