Overview

Food Counter Attendants prepare and serve food, assist customers, and keep counter and kitchen areas clean and organized. The role combines friendly service, accurate transactions, secure food handling, and efficient teamwork in a food-service setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food orders, follow food safety and sanitation practices, and maintain clean work areas and equipment.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, support selections, and use appropriate upselling to enhance service.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable, process payments, handle cash, and use basic math to verify transactions.
- Coordinate with colleagues to manage orders and maintain timely service. Your impact: accurate,

Skills

Required: Practical food preparation, food handling, sanitation, customer service, cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, basic math, and time management skills support safe, accurate, efficient service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with Micros POS, serving, and upselling can help you contribute confidently across counter and kitchen tasks.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
