Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with disabilities. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will work closely with lead educators to create engaging learning experiences that foster growth, creativity, and social skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support the lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
- Provide individualized attention to children, including those with working disabilities, to support their unique learning needs.
- Engage children in play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration and creativity.




- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Experience

- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A genuine love for working with children and fostering their development through education.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
