We are currently seeking Assembly Associates for a manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario. Successful candidates will assist with the assembly and finishing of large industrial shipping doors. These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality workmanship, and can work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

There are opportunities in two areas of production: heavy assembly and door finishing.

Location: Burlington, Ontario
Pay Rate: $20.86 per hour
Shift: Straight Days, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Heavy Assembly

- Assemble large shipping doors and related components.
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Handle heavier materials and components as required.
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Ensure assembled products meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Door Finishing

- Buff and finish door surfaces.
- Complete detailed finishing work to ensure a quality final product.
- Inspect finished products for imperfections and inconsistencies.
- Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail.
- Follow production procedures and workplace safety guidelines.





Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing workplace.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Good attention to detail, particularly for finishing and buffing duties.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Physical ability to meet the requirements of the assigned position, including handling heavier materials for the heavy assembly role.
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Work Environment

- Manufacturing and production setting.
- The workplace can be noisy, and earplugs will be provided.
- Work involves hands-on assembly or finishing tasks.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a production environment and following all required safety procedures.

Additional Information

- Straight day shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Pay rate: $20.86 per hour.
