You will be employed as a Field Service Technician by LIVunltd and assigned in Edmonton, Alberta as a full-time employee based out of our NW Edmonton location.

General Description

Providing maintenance and repair work, installing parts, and performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) for both commercial and residential fitness equipment.

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

· Diagnosing reported issues, or issues discovered while inspecting equipment. Making the necessary adjustments or repairs to resolve said issues.

· Performing preventative maintenance duties, as per client’s needs and contracts/agreements

· Installing replacement parts and thoroughly testing units afterwards, to ensure quality

· Maintaining and cleaning personal service vehicle. Reporting any vehicle issues or needs to supervisor of fleet management

· Effectively using our Field Service app on mobile phone to ensure you are starting and ending dispatched calls appropriately. Debriefing your work thoroughly and efficiently and providing supervisor with documentation, pictures, video, and all required follow-up information after calls are completed.

· Connecting with on-site contacts and answering any service-related questions or inquiries they may have

· Being an effective communicator and team player within the organization, in addition to our external clients. i.e., customers/vendor partners/community partners/project management groups etc.

· Participating in any/all related service courses or training as instructed by upper management.

· Participating and being an active supporter of our health and safety policies, in addition to other company policy and procedures as directed.

Qualifications:

To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in sometimes busy, fast-paced, dynamic environments, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes your time.

· Excellent communication skills

· Background in fitness equipment service and repair is ideal, but experience in some form of mechanical/electrical service and repair is necessary

· Strong time management skills

· Strong mobile device skills

· Excellent customer service sills

· Must pass a driver’s abstract

· Must clear a criminal record check (including vulnerable sector/underage)

Must, on occasion and when informed in advance, clear drug/alcohol tests when needed for specific site access locations

Work Hours

Be available between the weekday operating hours of 8AM and 5PM. On average of twice monthly, you will be required to travel to other locations in northern Alberta and stay overnight, typically in a range of 2-3 days at a time (all expenses covered). Your days and hours of work are subject to change to meet its needs. Your supervisor may require you to alter or amend these hours from time to time, either on a temporary basis or permanently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
