We are currently looking for intermediate and senior Electrical Designers and Engineers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed design and/or engineering of a variety of electrical systems, largely in the industrial field of Oil and Gas.

Responsibilities:

- Issuing electrical drawings and specifications
- Evaluating and specify electrical and controls equipment
- Preparing engineering and construction estimates and proposals
- Creating and revising various types of drawings and documents, such as electrical equipment lists, electrical load lists, I/O lists, plot plans, area classification drawings, single line diagrams, motor control schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, panel schedules, equipment layouts, PLC control panel layouts, I/O schematics, junction box wiring diagrams, electric heat trace isometrics, etc.
- Managing multiple projects including planning and scheduling, tracking deliverables and ensuring a high standard of quality
- Ensuring applicable codes, standards and client specifications are followed
- Promoting and developing strong working relationships with clients, vendors and contractors
- Responding to information requests during the construction phase




- Preparing vendor requests for quotation documents
- Supervising or training project team members
- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Diploma in electrical engineering technology
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Proficient in design and calculation software
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be located in Calgary or surrounding areas
