INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance | Welding Experience Required

Are you a skilled, hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment? We are looking for a reliable and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Solid knowledge of diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical problems independently, with minimal supervision.
- Preventive Maintenance: Experience performing preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Basic Electrical Work: Ability to replace lights, electrical outlets, switches, and perform other basic electrical tasks.
- Welding Skills — MUST HAVE: Hands-on experience operating MIG or TIG welding machines for metal fabrication projects.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read, understand, and follow mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Safety Compliance: Practical experience following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Mechanical Repairs: Experience replacing and repairing bearings, belts,



chains, rollers, drive shafts, motors, gearboxes, air hoses, air fittings, air gauges, air cylinders, solenoid valves, and related components.
- Shot Peening Equipment: Knowledge of shot peening machines is an asset, but not required.
- Forklift Operation: Must hold a valid forklift operator's license.
- Tools: Must have personal hand tools; major tools will be provided.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work extended hours when required.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team in a unionized work environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid forklift operator's license.
- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
