We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in injection molding to optimize and support our client's manufacturing processes in GTA region.

Pay - $90K-110K

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure consistent product quality and efficient production.

- Analyze production and process data to identify trends and implement improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and defect elimination.

- Collaborate with design, tooling, and production teams to support new product introductions (NPI).

- Specify and validate tooling, machines, and auxiliary equipment required for molding operations.

- Troubleshoot molding process issues, including flash, short shots, burn marks, and other common defects.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.

- Lead process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.





- Provide technical support to maintenance and production staff regarding equipment and process operations.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in injection molding manufacturing engineering.

- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, thermoplastics, and mold design.

- Proficient in scientific molding principles and process development techniques.

- Experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and documentation.

- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485 (depending on industry).

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

- Robust problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
