Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Perform routine inspections of premises to identify safety hazards or security breaches
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and visitor entries for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures

Skills

- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures related to security operations
- Experience with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and asset loss
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to detect unusual activity quickly
- Clear communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding decisively to incidents
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required

Job Overview

Dynamic Security Group Inc. is seeking professional, reliable, and responsible Security Guards to join our growing team across the Greater Toronto Area. We provide security services to a variety of locations, including commercial properties, construction sites, residential buildings, retail plazas, parking facilities, and special events.

We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, excellent observation abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Successful candidates must be flexible and willing to work at different locations throughout the GTA, depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Patrol assigned properties and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
- Control access to buildings, construction sites, parking areas, and restricted locations.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems where required.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs.
- Respond professionally to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents.
- Assist clients, visitors, employees, and contractors when necessary.
- Enforce site-specific security procedures and company policies.
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and incidents to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.




- Complete shift handovers and communicate important information to incoming guards and management.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and established security procedures.
- Reliable transportation is an asset, especially for assignments outside major transit routes.
- Previous security experience is an asset; entry-level candidates with the right qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is an asset where required by the assignment.
- Availability for day, afternoon, night, weekend, and holiday shifts is an asset.
