About Us

NAM is a licensed addiction and mental health treatment provider operating within a Therapeutic Community model. We provide structured recovery programs, group sessions, and holistic wellness activities to support individuals in their recovery journey.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and motivated Recovery Support Workers to support our residential recovery programs during evenings and weekends.

Internationally educated healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and other medical professionals, are welcome to apply, even if they are not currently licensed in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor client wellness, safety, and adherence to program expectations.
- Facilitate recovery-focused activities, group discussions, and recreational outings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe residential environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, household organization, and daily program operations.
- Respond appropriately to conflicts, emergencies, and crisis situations.
- Complete timely documentation, incident reports, and shift handovers.
- Observe medication self-administration according to organizational policies.
- Transport participants to appointments and recovery activities using the agency vehicle.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and trauma-informed practices.





Qualifications

- Background in healthcare, addiction recovery, mental health, or community support.
- Internationally educated healthcare professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Recovery Coach certification or willingness to complete training.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing stressful situations.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Willingness and legal eligibility to drive a 15-passenger van.
- Punjabi or Hindi language skills are an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Work Schedule

- Weekdays: 2:00 PM–9:00 PM or 4:30 PM–9:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Weekend availability is mandatory.
