Job Description:

Our team operates with respect and our machinery is unique to the world of gear cutting and drivetrain manufacturing. We supply drivetrain (gear) components for mining machinery, automotive, oil and paper industry among others. We focus on high precision on a large scale and are looking to take your interest and further your existing skillset with the end goal of becoming a Qualified Gear Cutter / Drivetrain Manufacturing Specialist.

In this role you will:

- Learn to operate the various machinery
- Machine maintenance & setup
- Clean & Debur parts
- Maintain Shop Areas
- Part handling (loading & unloading)

Required Experience

- Safety shoes and glasses required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (High School Diploma or Equivalency).
- Candidate must have the ability to read drawings.




- Candidate must have working knowledge of measuring tools.

Additional but not required

- Previous machinery operation experience
- Possession of a tool set (wrenches, squares, rules, mic’s…) recommended but not required immediately.

Other information

- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm, Mon-Fri (with potential for Overtime)
- This is an entry level job with excellent growth potential, for other machining and gear cutting training.

Compensation

- $19.00/hr with benefits after 3 months of full time employment.

- vernier/caliper reading: 1 year (preferred)
- micrometer reading/using: 1 year (preferred)
- manufacturing drawing reading: 1 year (preferred)
