Timmins Family Counselling Centre (TFCC) is seeking a Bilingual Therapist (English/French) to join our team as an Independent Contractor.

This flexible contract opportunity is ideal for a clinical professional interested in providing counselling services to youth, adults, couples, and families within a community-based counselling agency.

Responsibilities

- Provide counselling and psychotherapy services to clients aged 12 and older.
- Deliver individual, couple, and family counselling services.
- Maintain clinical documentation and statistical reporting in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Participate in agency programs and services as appropriate.
- Other duties related to client care and service delivery as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Master’s Degree in Psychology, Equivalent education and relevant clinical experience may be considered.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills.
- Experience working with trauma, abuse,



intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, grief, and other mental health concerns is considered an asset.
- Experience facilitating groups is an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
