Key Responsibilities

- Proactively identify potential concentration issues or policy drift and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain regular fund-level compliance and monitoring dashboards for senior management.
- Monitor issues through to resolution and ensure appropriate escalation where required.
- Support strong governance and equitable treatment across funds and facilities.

Mortgage Renewal Oversight

- Review mortgage renewals from a fund and portfolio perspective, considering rate, term, maturity, risk, liquidity, and keep-versus-exit decisions.

- Escalate significant renewal risks or exceptions in accordance with established approval authorities.

Mortgage Allocation Oversight

- Support consistent application of the organization's mortgage allocation policies across funds and facilities.
- Regularly review allocation outcomes to identify and document potential exceptions or inconsistencies.
- Maintain appropriate records supporting equitable allocation practices.
- Support internal reviews and external lender requests relating to allocation practices where required.

Borrowing Base & Credit Facility Management

- Prepare, review, and manage borrowing base calculations across secured credit facilities.
- Apply applicable eligibility criteria, advance rates, concentration limits, exclusions, and haircuts accurately and consistently.
- Monitor mortgages approaching potential ineligibility due to maturity, arrears, renewal status, documentation, or other factors.
- Forecast borrowing base availability and potential impacts over 30-, 60-, and 90-day periods.
- Identify potential shortfalls early and coordinate appropriate remediation.
- Monitor facility covenants, including utilization, concentration, delinquency, loan-to-value, and other applicable financial and portfolio metrics.

- Escalate potential covenant or borrowing base issues proactively with recommended solutions.

Liquidity, Redemptions & Cash Forecasting

- Monitor fund liquidity, cash positions, redemption requirements, and applicable liquidity protocols.
- Maintain rolling short- and longer-term cash and capacity forecasts covering anticipated draws, repayments, subscriptions, redemptions, mortgage payouts, renewals, and recoveries.
- Determine available funding capacity for new mortgage opportunities and communicate capacity to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate facility draws and repayments to support efficient utilization and cost-of-funds management.
- Provide senior leadership with timely visibility into emerging liquidity or capacity constraints.

Non-Performing Loan Oversight

- Represent fund and facility interests in discussions concerning defaulted and non-performing mortgages.
- Work closely with Servicing and other internal stakeholders to drive timely action on delinquent and defaulted files.
- Maintain regular reviews of material non-performing loans, including enforcement timelines, workouts, payout negotiations, property status, and recovery strategies.
- Assess the impact of non-performing loans on fund liquidity, borrowing bases, facility covenants, and portfolio performance.
- Escalate stalled or material files where appropriate.

Fund & Lender Reporting

- Lead the preparation of recurring fund-level reporting and management reporting, working closely with Accounting.
- Prepare and coordinate lender reporting, including borrowing base certificates, compliance certificates, loan tapes, covenant calculations, and delinquency reporting.

- Coordinate lender audits, due diligence requests, reporting requirements, and remediation activities.
- Develop a detailed working knowledge of applicable credit agreements and reporting obligations.
- Monitor compliance with facility terms and escalate issues proactively.
- Support facility renewals, amendments, waivers, and new financing arrangements in partnership with senior leadership, Finance, Capital Markets, and Legal.
