Your Opportunity:

Wellington Produce Packaging is currently hiring a Full-Time Permanent Shipper/Receiver to join our manufacturing facility in Mount Forest, Ontario. The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, raw material handling, forklift operation, and general production support. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely flow of raw materials and finished products throughout the plant and to Wellington Produce Packaging’s customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving

- Prepare, load, and accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments according to order specifications
- Courier deliveries and customer pickups
- Receive and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders, and submit paperwork to office
- Conduct inventory cycle counts working alongside Operations Coordinator

Material Handling & Forklift Operation

- Transport raw materials to machines/machine operators to keep machines and production running
- Transport finished goods to storage or shipping areas
- Ensure proper and organized storage of materials




- Safely operate forklift and/or other machinery to load, unload, or transport product and materials

Production Support

- Machine operation to support production plans and goals
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth production
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Provide support to Production & Maintenance Team Leader as required

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience operating a forklift
- Basic computer skills (experience with inventory systems or shipping software an asset)
- Robust organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to various tasks and requests from team members and customers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team
