Overview

The Cabinet Maker builds, assembles, restores, and installs cabinets and related woodwork. The role involves interpreting plans, preparing materials, operating tools and equipment, and completing work carefully on site or in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure work areas, and prepare materials for accurate fabrication and installation.
- Cut, shape, and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment; check fit and finish.
- Install cabinets, apply caulking, and coordinate related finishing work, including construction painting, drywall, flooring, or tile laying as needed.
- Support restoration and construction tasks, handle materials safely, and collaborate with trades on project sequencing.

Skills

Required: Practical carpentry and woodworking skills, secure use of hand and power tools, blueprint reading, assembly, and cabinet installation support accurate fabrication and fitting. Preferred: Construction or manufacturing experience, CNC familiarity, and related exposure to concrete forming, masonry, rebar, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, construction estimating, heavy lifting, or handyman tasks can support varied project needs.

Pay: $19.54-$25.00 per hour
