Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will help transform business and transaction data into meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making across the company. The Data Analyst will work closely with management, finance, operations, product, engineering, and other internal teams to improve reporting processes, monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and support business planning.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex datasets, improving reporting accuracy, building dashboards and reporting tools, and using data to solve business problems in a fast-paced payments and technology environment.

Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, validate, analyze, and interpret company business and transaction data to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Develop and maintain data collection processes, databases, dashboards, reports, and reporting tools to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of the company’s data analysis and reporting functions.
- Analyze payment, transaction, customer activity, and operational data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business performance insights.
- Use statistical and analytical techniques to interpret data, prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, monitor key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to management, finance, operations, product, and other internal teams.




- Work closely with management to understand business and information needs, prioritize reporting requirements, and support business planning and strategic decision-making.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, help improve reporting automation, support data accuracy and reconciliation processes, and collaborate with engineering and product development teams to enhance internal data systems, product reporting, and data workflows.
- Help ensure that data handling, reporting, and analysis activities are conducted in accordance with applicable data privacy laws, internal policies, and company procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business performance analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting automation.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly to business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required. Equivalent education or demonstrated data analytics capabilities at a comparable level may also be considered.
