Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Stud Framer and Drywall Taper to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately frame structures using steel studs and related materials
- Construct wall partitions, ceilings, and other interior frameworks with steel framing components, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
- Install drywall sheets efficiently on walls and ceilings, applying taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques for smooth surfaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively during framing and drywall installation
- Perform concrete forming tasks when required, including setting up forms for concrete pouring and finishing concrete surfaces as needed
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing or drywall surfaces to restore structural integrity




- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and project timelines

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, drywall installation, or framing; prior experience with steel stud framing is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation when necessary
- Knowledge of drywall techniques including taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing for professional-quality results
- Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing processes; welding skills are a plus but not mandatory
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards
- Robust understanding of construction safety protocols and building codes

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
