We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial records for multiple companies. The ideal candidate will have strong Sage 50 Accounting experience, a solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping, and experience managing payroll, GST filings, and corporate tax remittances.

This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple company files and competing deadlines in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple companies using Sage 50 Accounting.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records for each company.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payments.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Process payroll, including source deductions and payroll remittances.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely GST remittances.
- Prepare and manage corporate tax-related remittances and filing deadlines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for accountants.




- Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines.
- Provide general administrative support when needed.

Qualifications

- Several years of bookkeeping experience, preferably managing multiple companies.
- Strong Sage 50 Accounting experience is required.
- Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll processing, and payroll remittances.
- Knowledge of GST reporting and remittance requirements.
- Experience coordinating corporate tax-related payments and working with external accountants on corporate tax filings.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
