Job Overview

The Site Work Contract Pressure Welder performs welding and fabrication tasks.

Welders must refer to drawings, use tools for hand-welding while supporting safe, accurate project completion. The role combines hands-on welding with material preparation and assembly.

Working safely, outstanding teamwork and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

TSBC A and logbok or equivalent, in combination with a weld procedure test. Boilermaker qualifications would be ideal.

Required: Practical welding capability, blueprint reading, measurement with calipers, basic math, and safe use of hand and power tools are required for completing duties accurately. Confined space ticket a must-have; fall pro an asset. WorkSafeBC registration and in good standing also reqeuired.

Preferred: Experience and familiarity with heaters; rigging, machining, ductwork, plasma cutting, and SMAW or FCAW welding also advantageous.

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
