Morson Edge is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join an creative team developing advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems supporting the Royal Canadian Navy and its partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex engineering projects and contribute to cutting-edge naval defence technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead systems engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Define and manage system and subsystem requirements.
- Oversee system design, integration, verification, and validation (IV&V;).
- Conduct trade studies, technical reviews, and risk assessments.
- Manage engineering work packages, schedules, and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and stakeholders.




- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally within naval defence or complex engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and methodologies.
- Experience with EMI/EMC, MIL-STD requirements, and environmental qualification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sonar systems, naval applications, cybersecurity, safety systems, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is an asset.
- Experience with DOORS, UML tools, ERP systems, and configuration management tools.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
