We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Concord, Ontario on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support timely reporting cycles, and contribute to informed business decisions through reliable analysis and controls. Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple business units, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies to support complete and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks, including account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting support.
- Process intercompany transactions and assist with settlement activities while maintaining appropriate documentation and audit trails.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing functions to help maintain smooth financial operations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and regulatory submissions in accordance with internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Administer fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation tracking, and reconciliation of related accounts.
- Contribute to financial analysis, budget allocation support, and process documentation to strengthen controls and improve reporting efficiency.
- Provide support for shared services activities and participate in system-related initiatives or process improvements where required.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience in a corporate or shared services environment.




- Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Experience working with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, identify variances, and support accurate reporting.
- Solid documentation skills with the ability to maintain clear procedures and support process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
