You’ll play a crucial role in preparing meals tailored to the nutritional needs of hospitalized patients, while adhering to health and safety requirements and contributing to patients’ comfort and recovery through proper and safe nutrition. In addition, you’ll be able to put your interpersonal skills and cheerful disposition to good use by providing service to hospital staff.

SPECIFICALLY, WE EXPECT YOU TO:

- Assist with food preparation.

- Serve meals to patients.

- Provide service to employees in the cafeteria safely and in accordance with food safety standards.

TO SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATE YOUR ROLE, YOU MUST POSSESS VARIOUS QUALITIES SUCH AS:

- Demonstrate versatility.

- A customer-service-oriented approach.

- The ability to collaborate with the care team.

IN TERMS OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL STAND OUT FROM THE REST IF YOU HAVE:

- A high school diploma.

- Relevant experience in a similar position.

- Proficiency in both official languages (French and English).

- Good physical fitness to handle and transport food carts throughout the various areas of the hospital.
