Role Overview

Collective Waste Solutions is currently hiring a full-time Class 3 Roll-Off Driver for our Edmonton operations. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off equipment while transporting waste materials from customer collection sites to approved disposal facilities.

We are looking for a safety-focused, dependable qualified with waste industry experience and strong operational awareness.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate assigned roll-off equipment while meeting scheduled pick-ups and deliveries
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required safety documentation
- Load, transport, and unload waste materials in compliance with company and safety standards
- Complete work assignments independently and communicate regularly with the Field Supervisor
- Prepare and maintain work orders, maintenance records, incident reports, and safety reports
- Identify and proactively address hazardous conditions to ensure safe operations
- Follow all company policies, provincial regulations, and site safety requirements

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
- Class 1A License is considered an asset

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
- Previous waste collection industry experience required




- Experience operating waste collection or roll-off vehicles required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of truck/equipment operation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational demands
- Strong communication and spotting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements
- Willingness to work extended shifts when required to complete operations

Additional Information

- Pre-access drug and alcohol testing is required
- Successful candidates may require to complete a background check

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
