Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our crew. Primary truck type is Gravel with occasional Water Truck, Bin Truck or Walking Floor operation.

This is a part time as required position. Ideal for a semi-retired individual who would like a day here or week there type of position.

Local candidates only. All others will be ignored. Class 1 only. Class 3 or lower will be ignored.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport materials over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and co-workers.
- Perform basic repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety




- Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, vehicle operation, and equipment use

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to operate wheel loaders and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods
- Basic repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
- Solid communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 50.0 per week
