Job Overview

The Welder fabricates, joins, and prepares components for manufacturing, construction, or related projects. This hands-on role uses welding and metalworking techniques to produce accurate assemblies, follow plans, and support safe, coordinated work.

Duties

- Perform MIG welding, assembly, and metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
- Support material handling with rigging, crane, or forklift equipment, and contribute to ductwork or construction tasks as needed.

Requirements

Required: Practical welding ability, blueprint reading, basic math, and secure use of hand and power tools support accurate fabrication and assembly. Mechanical knowledge and attention to measurements help ensure components meet specifications. Preferred: Experience with MIG, machining, calipers, plasma cutting, press brake machines, rigging, cranes, forklifts, ductwork, or construction is advantageous. Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and interpreting schematics can help you coordinate tasks and contribute effectively across varied projects.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
