Our shop sells quality, repaired/cleaned and tested donated items at reasonable prices to raise funds for local community service projects and global partners for relief, development and peace.

Responsibilities

- Work with 1 or 2 other volunteers on donated pictures, artwork, frames, mirrors, wall hangings, etc.
- Inspect items for quality and condition, clean them, and look up their value and originality on Google.
- Price items according to a price guideline and arrange them on the retail floor once priced.
- Perform lifting and repair of frames and pictures where possible.

Age Requirements

16 years old or above

Other Requirements

- Some art background is an asset.

Schedule

- Tuesdays and /or Thursdays for 3 to 4 hours between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Perks

- Training is provided by our retail store manager on the cash register and customer service.
- We provide a letter of reference after 60 or more hours of volunteer time.
