Responsibilities:

To develop, implement and maintain a high quality, licensed program for children, guiding them in physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Accountable for the program, the children and the ownership of the classroom.

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for children in an early childhood education setting.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.




- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Must be in good standing with the College of ECE's. Please provide RECE #.

Must be able to lift 20 kilos

Ability to obtain clear Vulnerable Sector Screening - Police Reference Check (if not obtained within the last 6 months)

Up to date immunizations (medical form provided, if immunizations are not within the last 6 months)

Current recognized First Aid/CPR level C

Positive oral and written communication skills

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Diploma

Experience:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Substitute Teachers: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Registration with the College of ECE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour
