United Way Peterborough & District is looking for a creative, team-oriented, and skilled Communications Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, the Communications Officer will help bring United Way’s work and impact to life through compelling communications across our community.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Communications planning and strategy
- Content development, storytelling, and visual communications
- Website, social media, email, and digital communications
- Media relations and public communications
- Campaign, donor, partner, and event communications
- Communications analytics, brand consistency, and audience engagement

We’re looking for someone with strong writing and storytelling skills, experience creating engaging digital and visual content, and the ability to manage multiple communications priorities in a cooperative, mission-driven environment.

Ontario
- Position: Full-time, 1.0 FTE
- Salary: $55,000 to $60,000
- Extended health benefits, matched RRSP contributions, paid vacation and sick days, holiday office closure, and half-day Fridays in July and August.
