Job Summary

As a Subway Sandwich Artist, prepare food and serve customers in a clean, welcoming restaurant. Follow food safety and sanitation practices while keeping service accurate and efficient during busy periods.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to established procedures, handle food safely, and maintain a sanitary work area.
- Use the POS system to process orders and payments, handle cash accurately, and apply basic math during transactions.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, support serving needs, and suggest relevant menu additions through friendly upselling.
- Manage time effectively, keep the kitchen and service areas organized, and coordinate with teammates to maintain smooth service.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, food handling, food safety, sanitation, customer service, cashiering, cash handling, POS use, basic math, and time management skills support safe, accurate service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience is helpful, as is familiarity with Micros POS and confidence with upselling.

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour
