Underground Electrician

About Lion One:

Lion One Metals is developing the high grade Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project on the island of Viti Levu, Fiji. Our underground mine and processing plant are in production and we are growing our team.

The role:

We are looking for a qualified Underground Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across our underground workings and surface infrastructure, keeping equipment running safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities:

- Install, test and maintain underground power distribution, lighting and communication systems.
- Fault find and repair electrical faults on mobile and fixed plant, pumps,



fans and substations.
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate service records.
- Work closely with the maintenance and mining teams to minimise downtime.
- Follow all site safety, isolation and permit to work procedures.

Requirements:

- Recognised electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
- At least 3 years of experience, ideally in underground mining or heavy industry.
- Experience with high voltage systems is an advantage.
- Able to work a rotating roster on site.
