Lead Winter Break Camp programming for the Town of Newmarket while supervising staff, coordinating activities, and protecting camper safety throughout each session.

Working with Newmarket’s Recreation and Culture Team, the Camp Director oversees daily camp operations and safe program delivery. The seasonal position requires experience planning day camp activities, supervising staff, and working with children. Communication, organization, and emergency response skills support effective service to families and participants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and mentor camp staff and volunteers through coaching
- Manage daily camp operations and secure program delivery
- Plan and coordinate camp programming and special events




- Communicate with parents about camper well-being and sign-in
- Respond to emergencies and arrange medical assistance

Requirements:

- Related post-secondary education or equivalent education and experience
- Experience planning day camp activities with children
- Supervisory experience in a related field
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Current High Five certification and required safety certifications
