Homeroom Teacher (Grades 7–8)

A fantastic opportunity for a passionate, well-qualified teacher to join a vibrant and successful private school. Sevenoaks Academy, established in 2015, has grown to near full capacity with small class sizes, teaching support, and a strong sense of camaraderie among staff.

We are currently hiring for the Grade 7/8 classroom.

We follow the Ontario Curriculum, while maintaining a balance of modern and traditional teaching approaches.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is dynamic, organized, and a team player
- Brings strong classroom management and engagement skills
- Is comfortable teaching a range of subjects within their division
- Experience working with diverse learners

Assets

We encourage applicants with strengths in one or more of the following:

- Experience in teaching Grade 7/8
- Strong background in Math, Science
- Interest in athletics and coaching school sports

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Start January 2027

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
