Release Engineer:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Release Engineer for a 6 month contract role. This position is a remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Release Engineer - Job Description:
The Release Engineer will lead and coordinate multiple project teams across a large program, ensuring alignment of priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments across the Agile Release Train (ART). The role involves driving execution and governance for large-scale technology initiatives involving multiple workstreams, vendors, stakeholder groups, and geographically dispersed teams.

Release Engineer - Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate multiple project teams across a large program
- Drive execution and governance for large-scale technology initiatives
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Measure performance using project management tools
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Document and manage risks, issues, decisions, and action items
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Facilitate approvals of key documentation
- Delegate project tasks based on team strengths




- Track project performance and analyze goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints
- Use and develop leadership skills
- Support planning and delivery of AI initiatives
- Ensure governance and risk management for AI technology initiatives

Release Engineer - Mandatory Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in supporting multiple software projects
- 5+ years of Program Management or RTE experience
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Agile
- Familiarity with SharePoint, S4 HANA, MS Project, ServiceNow, Azure Dev Ops
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams

Release Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- SAFe 5 RTE Certification
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience working with Agile development processes
- Experience in a qualified services organization
- Familiarity with packaged SDLC

Release Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
