The Quality Controll role supports consistent product and process standards in manufacturing through careful inspection, accurate data collection, and transparent communication of findings. You will contribute to quality management and quality assurance by identifying issues early and helping teams make informed decisions. Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control inspections of materials, products, and processes, using calipers where appropriate to check measurements against established specifications.
- Collect and record inspection data accurately, noting defects, measurement results, and relevant process observations.
- Analyze findings to identify trends or potential quality issues, and share clear updates with relevant team members.
- Support QA/QC activities and quality assurance procedures, helping document concerns and follow through on corrective actions.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years machining experience
- Be familiar with requirements for health and safety programs
- Have working knowledge of computer programs
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to excel in high pressure situations
- Proficient in reading and writing English
Required: Practical quality inspection, quality control, data collection, and analysis skills are essential, along with careful measurement using calipers and the ability to communicate findings clearly in a manufacturing setting. Preferred: Experience or familiarity with quality management, quality assurance, and QA/QC processes is advantageous, as is the ability to collaborate with production colleagues and contribute to consistent, well-documented quality practices.
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
