Device Mart is a growing electronics buy, sell, and repair business specializing in smartphones, laptops, MacBooks, tablets, gaming consoles, and other electronics.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Testing & Refurbishment Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be preparing used electronics for resale by testing, cleaning, photographing, and performing minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities

- Device Testing: Inspect and test smartphones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and other electronics to ensure proper functionality.
- Cleaning & Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare devices for resale, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Product Photography: Take clear, professional photographs of devices, accurately showing their condition.
- Minor Repairs: Perform basic repairs such as replacing batteries, screens, SSDs, RAM, and other components when required.
- Grading & Quality Control: Assess cosmetic and functional condition, identify defects, and assign appropriate grades.
- Inventory Management: Label, organize, and update device information in our inventory management system.
- Packaging: Prepare completed devices for storage, shipping, or retail sale.

Process devices accurately and efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of smartphones, laptops, and consumer electronics.
- Previous experience testing, repairing, or refurbishing electronics is preferred.
- Comfortable working with both Apple and Windows devices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Comfortable using computers and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily productivity targets.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, organized, effective, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate enjoys working with electronics and can consistently prepare devices to a high standard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Processing Refurbishing Electronics: 1 year (required)
