Prepare bakery ingredients and products as a Junior Baker at Shelly's Indigenous Bistro in Winnipeg. Full time and part-time schedules are available.

This Junior Baker supports daily production at 1364 Main Street while developing baking skills. You will assist with bannock, fry bread, breads, pastries, and desserts. The work also includes recipes, sanitation, storage, and safe equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, scale, and prepare baking ingredients
- Assist with bannock, fry bread, breads, pastries, and desserts
- Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines
- Maintain clean, organized preparation and baking stations
- Operate bakery equipment safely and report maintenance concerns

Requirements:

- Previous baking or kitchen experience is an asset
- Basic baking techniques and kitchen safety understanding
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Valid Manitoba Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
