Deliver accurate checkout service at Giant Tiger in Sault Ste. Marie, using electronic registers, mainline lanes, and self checkouts. This is a part time prospect.

As a temporary Cashier, you will support customers at checkout while maintaining an organized sales area. The work includes transaction accuracy, merchandise replenishment, health and safety compliance, and loss prevention practices. You will also follow requirements when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high customer service at checkout areas
- Record transactions accurately using electronic cash registers
- Operate mainline and self checkout lanes
- Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
- Keep checkout workspaces clean and organized

Requirements:

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and squat
- Ability to lift or move up to 18 kilograms
